A high quality heater with shock resistant quartz glass, precision protection circuit and protective grid
sera aquarium heater thermostats are very short and are easy to install in small aquariums. The function control (on/off) is achieved by means of a small lamp.
Directions for use: Submerge the heater vertically into
the water at least up to the “MINIMUM” mark, and attach
it to the aquarium pane with the double suction cup. It
should be attached in a location that a permanent and
steady water flow is maintained. Thus you will provide
steady temperatures anywhere in the aquarium. Only
then connect it to the power source. Appropriate power
and room temperature provided, you can now set the desired temperature with the adjustment wheel. The scale
on the wheel reflects the approximate temperature.
The real exact water temperature may fluctuate by
± 10%. This is no reason for complaint. However, you
still must monitor the temperature with an aquarium
thermometer (e.g., sera precision thermometer). If the
control light is on, the heater is operating. Monitor the
heater during the first 24 hours. After this, the temperature can be readjusted as necessary.
